Green Smoothie HNG

 

Here is Heal ‘N Glow’s recipe I live by every day. It takes some time to change your perception of what breakfast should look like, but this is definitely some great idea to consider to regain vitality and nourish yourself on cellular lever without starvation. Give it a try and give it some time.

Here it is:

7 handfuls of Organic Salad mix or 7 cups of spinach or 7 cups of spinach and kale mix

1 head of Romaine lettuce, chopped

2 celery sticks, chopped

1 banana

1 apple (organic please, remember Dirty Dozen Lists?)

1 pear (or 2 apples, whatever you have on hand)

1 banana

Juice of 1/2 lemon

2 cups of water

Optional ingredients:

1 TB raw coconut powder (for super hydration)

1 TB Flaxseed oil (for Omega 3)

2 TB raw, unheated honey

1/2 tsp Ashwagandha (for energy in the morning and restful sleep at night)

1/2 tsp Shatavari (for rejuvenation)

1/2 tsp Brahmi (for memory and brain function)

Mix all in the Vitamix or high speed blender. Drink as your breakfast and mid morning break.
